A Simple Review:

Pastis Kitchen and Bar is a great new addition to Jakarta’s trendy after hours dinner and hangout spots. Opened In December of 2008, the spot is still fairly new, but has become a trendy Jakarta hangout.

The choice of food is of both Asian and Western dishes, with a dash of Italian pastas. The decor is a classy minimalist touch, with the ambiance perfect for a dinner with family or friends. You will find yourself well satisfied with the food, as not only is the quality and savor of the food great, but the portions themselves are well deserving of the price, which you will find to be very fair.

Not only do you have the restaurant at your disposal, but you will find outside a patio with lounge chairs, that serves as a great place for drinks with friends and inside a small section of the restaurant converts into a lounge after hours. With the hosting staff willing to cater to your needs, and always alert, you are sure to have a great dining experience.

Overall, I give Pastis a well deserved 4/5 and hope that all you IC members will enjoy it, should you choose to sample its cuisine.
