Event Photographer/Reporter

You are going to attend club parties for us, to cover several events about 3 times a week - clubnights usually take place on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, occasionally also on Thursday or Sunday.

Covering an event means:

• Taking AT LEAST 50 decent pictures during the party (Easy to exploit, no blurs, good lighting, good subject)
• Resizing and publishing them online WITHIN 1 DAY following the event on indonesiaclubbing.com through a photo uploading system we will provide you, to make the task easier and faster.
• Whenever there's something special going on the event (meaning: special local/international DJ, special occasions such as rave festival, anniversary celebration of the club/a brand/a magazine), you will have to write and publish a textual article (completed with photos you've taken) telling our readers about the event. The article will be written in BOTH ENGLISH AND INDONESIAN, and if for the English part we will do the grammatical, spelling and vocabulary proofreading ourselves, we expect your Indonesian article to be completely free from grammatical, spelling and vocabulary errors.

Payment will be based on work done and we will discuss about it with you once a mutual accord has been established.

Event Organizer

You are going to organize parties for us, about once or twice a month.

Organizing an event means:

• Preparing the event from A to Z: preparing the concept, dealing with the venue (club/bar/lounge), finding a suitable event title, finding the performers (DJs, sexy dancers).
• Promoting the events through ONLINE MEANS: indonesiaclubbing, Facebook, Friendster, as well as through OFFLINE MEANS: spreading invitations, inviting people, etc.
• Running the event on Day D - organizing venue, organizing the performers, etc.
• We will provide a standard base of costs for the events, and we will eventually share the profits with you.

Payment will be based on work done and we will discuss about it with you once a mutual accord has been established.

Requirements

The incumbent MUST BE:

• Aged between 19 and 23 years old.
• An adept partygoer. You feel comfortable going out clubbing, you love electronic music and dancing in the clubs.
• Communicative and well enough in public relation matter. Well okay you will not have to talk much with the club representatives or anyone, but you will have to appear pleasant, and never forget to smile, because a smile says often a lot!
• You have a digital camera, of minimum 5 Megapixels and IT MUST BE A REAL CAMERA, no cellphone cameras allowed.
• You have an internet access at home or at an internet cafe near your place.
• You speak fluently in English (and Indonesian goes without saying) and are able to write articles.

Advantages and Benefits

• You will have a parttime job that will complete your salary. Note that the work will not take your time FULLY, since it is NOT a fulltime job, and it will ONLY take you a few hours a week AT NIGHT, disposing you all weekdays to work or study normally.
• You will have the chance to see what's behind the nightlife and clubbing scene of Indonesia - discover the universe, meet and interview international DJs, participating as one of the clubbing actors, and enlarge your network and connaissances.
• You will be paid to go to parties! You will need about an hour to take pictures, and after the quota of 50 pictures minimum has been fulfilled, you'd be free to enjoy the party.
