How many time you’ve been in indo?
This my forth time I think. I played in Jakarta about 3 times. And yesterday Surabaya my first time. So four times.
I mean you play here over number of year. What should be difference of unites and the culture in your country, practically, in the dance music’s culture
I am from Holland, and Holland people are very spoil with music. Every week people can watch a biggest name perform. That makes people a lil bit down. If somebody from Holland , it’s actually spinning in some country.
And if I am having a look at the dance floors in whatever part of the world, that always like people are more open minded with all of the kind of the music, and more cheerful. That’s the biggest different between dutchy ducthy and like kind thing the world, especially Asia.
One point thing in your career which really change things for you or really ignited you, where would it be?
Actually I used to play soccer in Omaha when I was young. When I was 18 I visited a party. The biggest techno names came in the little basement with 2000 people gathered, big sound system. So that was the point for me like this is what I wanna do. I don’t do a pure techno like I used love back dance, but that was the breakthrough.
That is your past, What is your agenda in the next couple of year?
First I have do a lot of job on studio. I’ve done a few project for touring recording from UK, officially. the first one is gonna release at July 7. I recently did a compilation for some recording in New York city. What I am going to do, do a lot of remixes, a lot of project, and doing a lot of touring, in America, now Asia, playing a lot in Holland in this summer, like you, a festival. That’s going to be like 15 festivals in this summer.
