Is this your first time in Indonesia?

Actually not, I've been to Bali before but this is indeed my first time in Jakarta.

We don't have much time so we're just gonna ask you some quick questions. First one is, why the name Lifelike? Why in English and not in French?

Actually it'd be strange to say it in French, and it literally means resemblance to real life. I just liked the name, although I had several other nicknames.

Which recording are you actually in?

Vulture, one of the biggest French underground label.

When you were contacted by the Djakarta Warehouse Project, what was your reaction? Have you heard about it yet?

I haven't heard of it but I was glad cos I like South East Asia and it's a good opportunity for me to play in the festival!

What's hot in France and Paris right now?

I think the underground scene is really going on well.

In your successful career, have you got a gig you'll always remember?

Well once I was playing in a club, very focused on my set, and suddenly someone came standing next to me, I saw this guy typing on his cell phone and then poked me in the arm, showing me what he wrote:"Can you play some other tracks? Like a R&B song?"

I was shocked but it was funny so I remember it until now.

That was indeed funny - most DJs will talk about their experience in a great rave playing in a lot of people and all, but you remember this night when someone didn't like your music...Funny!

Well, it was something funny to remember, wasn't it??
